Adorable and Fun-Filled Read!!!

Jackie is a witch with little apparent talent, except for the ability to heal with a kiss! One night after work, she heard noise in an alley and saw the body of a feral vampire hurled into the snow. Even more of them were attacking what looked like a “normal” vampire who was defending an unconscious woman. When garlic spray chased off the feral vampires, the “normal” one shoved her against the wall. He seemed to be turning feral with rows of teeth and black eyes. So Jackie kissed him!!! And his changes reversed. Then she ran back to her apartment in fear and called her cop friend Mike Carter.
Kyle McKane is a human cursed by a witch named Sarah to become a vampire at night and human in the daytime. After Jackie had kissed him in the alley, he had changed back to human and was amazed that he was apparently cured. After she ran, he found her wallet in the alley and planned on giving her roses in gratitude. But then, the next afternoon in his motel room, he started to change back to a vampire. So he tracked down Jackie for help.
This is a cute story with very likeable characters. I liked the humor and found myself chuckling out loud at some of the antics. I highly recommend this book. It was well worth the read. This book was given to me as a freebie, but was so delightful that I wanted to write a review to share with others.

I thought it was interesting the whole you aren't what you are but you are what you can't accept formula. It made it interesting to watch Kyle and Jackie together as each of them have their own agendas and emotional stances in the relationship.
The Vampire's Curse is well written but I do wish we'd gotten a better more developed exploration of their personal feelings as well as the back story which took a slight back seat to the involvement of our h/h but it was a great read and I liked it. Look forward to reading more installments from this series.

WHO DOES JESSICA CHOOSE? MIKE THE PSYCHIC DETECTIVE OR KYLE THE CURSED VAMPIRE?

I have been reading Mandy Rosko’s work only for a short time and I happen to think that she is a good author/writer. She gets down to the nitty gritty in her books and wastes no time letting you know just how the story line is headed and how the characters are going to play into the story line. “The Vampire’s Curse” is no exception to the rule. A definite must read.
Jessica Moore is a witch who lives in a city that cannot be found on any map. She helps her mother Patty run her potion shop called “Patty’s Potions.” She can’t get a handle on her magic, but she can heal with the touch of her lips. She works in her mother’s magic store. She has just closed her mother’s shop when she stumbles across some feral vampires attacking another vampire. She saves the vampire from some feral vampires and as he is turning feral and fixing to attack her she just pulls him down to kiss him. He then for some unknown reason turns human again.
Kyle McKane is young man who is cursed by a witch to be a vampire. He is in Griffon looking for the witch so she can break the curse. He enlists the help of Jessica when her kiss turns him human just as he is about to bite her. Now Kyle is wondering what the connection is between Jessica and Mike Carter, the psychic detective who has a crush on Jessica? Who is turning the vampires feral? Will Jessica be able to keep her feelings for Kyle at bay, and vice versa? Will Jessica choose Kyle or Mike, or neither?
Even though Evey is a vampire and a secondary character in this story, she is the one that helps Jessica understand Kyle’s pull to her, and helps Kyle come to grips with his Vampire side. She is actually an AWESOME character for this story.
