Nostalgic Part Three!

Finally got my hands on the 3rd book in the Scary Stories series. Another nostalgic book for me, and the drawings have a lot to do with it, so make sure you get the original and not the new book. The stories were a lot scarier as a child, but still great to read and remember how it was back then. Love the drawings and the stories. I recommend the original if you are buying it for nostalgia purposes.

My 5-year old and 7-year old really like this book

I got this for my kids for Christmas. I read it to them at bedtime. The illustrations are incredible. I know there are newer versions of this book that have a different illustrator and a lot of people complained about it. Make sure you get Stephen Gammell as the illustrator. Most stories are short: one to three pages long. My 7-year old definitely enjoys it more than my 5-year old.

My mom completed my set!! Yippie!! Man, I loved these books when I was little and I still do! I have the first 2 volumes. These are classics and really fun to read on a dark stormy night...
