Too short; recommend including page count with description...book was only 50 pages, 58 pp, including blanks.
(The upcoming Big Book of Dashboards is nearly 500 pages & less expensive.)

Collection of images without the skill development aspect.

I was very excited for this book. I have been working with Tableau for about 8 months. I consider myself to be intermediate, but I need to increase my skills in translating the data visually and making the dashboards charming. Art & Data has images of captivating and visually appealing dashboards about different industries. However, it does not contain the "How to" factor. This book does not teach you the skills to develop visually appealing and captivating dashboards. It only tells you why the dashboards are great. The authors assume the audience are already an expert. Half of the book is a collection of the dashboard images and then why they are so great.
I researched the Decisive Data since the book left me inspired but without the skills needed to replicate the dashboards. I found out they have workshop sessions that cost a fortune. Unfortunately, I will return the book and wait for another with more depth, and the "how to" factor in order to improve my skills related to Tableau Dashboards.
